I joined a Breastfeeding Support Group. The amaz-balls org, Stork And Cradle (http://www.storkandcradle.com) has a ton of classes and workshops for parents, parents to-be and new mommies! I'm talking lactation consults, CPR classes, Lamaze classes, hospital tours for expecting moms and the newly added breastfeeding support group. So previously, me and the hubs attended the hospital tour of the Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of New York Presbytarian Hospital (long a** name, right) with Tamara Hawkins, owner of the org. It was a good thing we did because, when Turtlebug arrived 16 weeks early - we knew where to go!!!!!

So the group is hands on assistance with breastfeeding, which me and little man are totally failing at achieving!!!!! I have attended one class and learned where we were going wrong and have three more to attend. We will see how this goes.

Family coming to visit...

OMG...my big sister and the boys are coming!!!! As you know from earlier post my boys are some of my favorite things. I love them!!! We are going to have an adventurous weekend.

Also, this will be the first time that Lil Z meets his auntie and cousins.

A BREEZE!!!!

It is hot like H.E. double hockey sticks in the NYC today...however for about two hours it looked like rain and a Breeze peeked around the corner!!!! Yes. Score. This was also during the time I had the good since to journey to the grocery store with Lil Z and A!!!!

I love love love YouTube!!! I don't know what I did before its conception. I use this we based catalog of greatness for everything:
1. Natural hair tutorial- everything that I have ever done with my hair since going natural I have learned from YouTube. Love!
2. Music videos- I am too old to sit and watch 106 & Park and there is too much garbage I don't want to see sooooo, I go in YT and see the ones I want to see.
3. Visual Manual- most of the stuff we bought for Lil Z came with instructions in some cryptic language...so jump on YT and boom instructions. And since I am a visual learner this is better than reading it anyway.
3. Web Series - I love the series that ppl are putting out on YouTube. The Number, the Couple and The Unwritten Rules; are my fav!!!
4. And anything else I want to look up. Its there for my viewing pleasure.

Good Food

What can I say...there is a very large person inside of me...I'm talking Guinness Book big, can't leave out the house big, so big that there are no pants to fit - just sit in sheets all day (California King sheets)!!!!
I get is excited when I eat something good. I dance and wiggle in my seat because something taste so delightful. Can u relate!!!

Lazy Days

I love days when we are home and have NO PLANS, NO WHERE TO BE, just chillin and relaxing. That's what my Fourth of July 2012 looks like...laying in bed with A and Lil Z, thinking I should eat something!!! No pressure.

So in March I had a baby!!!!! He was WAY early but he is here and doing fine. Lil Z is growing by leaps and bounds. It is a wonderful feeling having him in my life. I feel truly blessed. I thank God for him daily. So with the arrival of my little all-star, I decided to get back to this page that has laid dormant for far to long! However I want to switch some things up...I will no longer be numbering things!!! That takes too long and totally gets on my nerves!! I will try to post daily, because life is too short and something should make me smile or happy at least once a day (in theory)! Please bare with me, and know up front that as a new mom, a lot of these things just might be baby related!! I will try not to be too mushy and googoo gaga like though! So...Lil Z or Turtlebug makes me so happy!!!! Being a mom is awesome, scary, exciting, mind blowing, nerve rekking and so much more. I am loving every moment of it!

Can you say yummmmmmy!!!! This is my weakness (yes, I know I have many). One of my favorite restaurants in NYC!!! It is located on 9th avenue, between 51st and 52nd! Go there for good food.
